The New Year

Well first I cant believe we are in 2010. Seems like the years are flying by for sure. This year is just as busy as last year for the Trotter family but I wouldnt change any of it. The kids are so busy between sports and church activities. This year I have been trying to focus on all the positive stuff in my life. I do have a wonderful family and great friends. Even though we have had some health issues in our family I have been telling myself that it could be so much worse.
So here is some of whats to come for the Trotter Family in 2010. WE are making a trip to Florida to see some of my family. Its been a little over 12 years since I have been to my hometown but Im so looing forward to it. Then there is baseball season for the boys. I love watching the boys play sports. Then the kids are in CTS again this year. It does a Mom proud to see he children serving the Lord the way they do.
Anyway Im going to go for now. I will try to write more this year then I did last year.

Easter 2009

Well where do I begin. Lets start with the positive. We had a wonderfull Easter. I had a Great morning at church. It is always wonderfull to be with our church family and its always good to be in Gods House. The day before we spent the day out at camp hope eating and having an Easter Egg Hunt. Then we wnet bowling with some great friends of our and out to dinner. It was overall a great weekend with family and friends. Now the not so positive stuff. Tanner our middle child decided early Easter morning that he wanted cereal and instead of asking he got up top of the counter to get the box of cereal that he wanted on top of the fridge. But to get there he had to walk across the stove in which my husband had just turned off from cooking. So he got 2nd degree burns across the bottom of his foot and is on crutches for atleast a week. I felt for the poor child I know he had to be in pain. I think now though he will think twice about doing that again. But he is a boy so we will see. The last time I left you guys I think Tyler was going to have this MRI done on his brain. Well we got the test results back on that the Friday before Easter. The good news is the nerve they were looking at is ok but the bad news is that there was 3 spots on his brain that were pretty big that were not there 4 months ago when they did the last MRI. So he goes tommorrow for a spinal tap and other blood work to get to the bottom of the spots and hoepfully everything else that is going on with him. I think I have had my limit of it all. Friday night I had the biggest cry that I have had in a long time. I know the good Lord is going to get us through this and thats what Im relying on is his strength. Anyway other then that we are good. Were hoping to start doing some camping soon and we have a big summer booked so far. I hoep all is ok with everyone. Love to all. I will be back soon and hopefully have good news all the way around.

Well let me think about whats been going on in the Trotter Family. Well we have been busy with the boys. They are in basketball season right now. I swear basketball has been the funniest sport to watch them play. I love watching them play these sports each year. I love watching them grow and learn and improve each year. Kaylee is Kaylee. She is a girly girl. Loves clothes and shoes. She is sassy and thinks that she is 13. We have had a long couple of months with Tyler. He has been sick. He has lost 14 pounds, has a blood pressure that has been running 150/120 or even higher at times, his eye has been dilating, and he has been having seizures. We have been running back and fourth with doctors has they try to figure all of this out. It is really hard to watch your child go downhill like he has. Its been hard when the doctors are throwing words like tumors, lukemia, and maybe even having to have brain surgery. I have been really relying on the Lord to get me through this time. There is some days that I feel so much weight on my shoulders that I cant even stand up. My friends have been a huge support system. Hopefully soon we will have the answers and get him on a good path back to a healthy life for him. Thats really about it. We have been busy running the kids to and from, Church, and just hanging out with family and friends. Hope all is well with everyone . Im sure I will be back soon with updates. Love to all

Well this is my first blog. I have never had a blog before so this is a new thing for me. I guess I can start out about telling you a little about my family. Im married now for 12 years to a wonderfull husband and his name is Travis. We have three wonderfull children. Tyler who is 11 years old is are oldest and the most responsible child I know for his age. He is such a good kid. Tanner is 10 and he is our middle child. Tanner is Tanner. He doesnt care what anybody thinks about him. He is so sweet and loving. Then there is the baby of the family. Kaylee who is 6 years old. Well she is all girl. God new what he was doing by making her last. LOL No she is a joy. I love being a mother to these three. Everyday brings new joy from just watching them grow and learn and try new things. Being a mother is the greatest gift that the Lord has given me.
